What first attracted you to work at Traka?
I have been watching this company for a while. I read this article a few months ago about how Assa Abloy are recognised as one of the world’s most innovative companies. Innovating the way people use their products and services, and that really caught my eye. I think that innovation and creativity are an important part of success. I am so excited to be a part of that innovation here. Not only the innovativeness of the company attracted me, but also the way they treat their employees.
What do you like most about working at Traka?

Tell us about the best part of your role at Traka?
I love my job because everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission. This truly creates a family environment where everybody is there for each other. I have an excellent team that go the extra mile on their day to day job. Every day is a new challenge which motivates me.
How would you rate your work-life balance?
I love that I have a great degree of control and freedom within my job. My manager trusts me to produce high quality work and results. I work hard to maintain that level of trust, which keeps me engaged and excited — but at the same time, I love that my job enables me to love and enjoy my other passions in life.
What motivates you to go above and beyond at work?
Success is what motivates me to do a good job. Knowing the fact that my hard work and perseverance will help me achieve greater professional success is what keeps me going. I feel that aligning the company’s vision and values with my own is one way to achieve that. When I know that my efforts are following the correct path, it encourages me to push more. Motivation is seeing the organization grow which ultimately leads to personal achievement and success. There might be instances of failure or stagnation but it does not demotivate me anyhow. On the other hand, I feel re-invigorated to perform even more. The taste of success after a failure is what keeps the fire going within me no matter what the circumstance. Working in a team and leading one, is my motivation to do a good job. United we stand, divided we fall has been my mantra for success right along. As a leader, it is imperative that you trust your team members and support them. It is also important to create synergy from their individual capabilities.
How would you describe the culture at Traka?
Traka is a busy but creative organization where everyone truly gets along and pitches in to get the job done — even if it’s not written in their job description. No egos, no politics, no gossip.
Would you recommend Traka as an employer?
I would recommend working for my employer as they entrusted my job responsibilities. They put the entirety of their trust that I would be able to make it up to their expectations. They are also giving me space for growth. At the same time, they are a company of credibility in this industry. They work not just with quality but the people in here are full of passion for their work.
