As the senior manager for Global Enterprise IT Applications, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle ERP Applications and integrated applications in your area of expertise with minimal to no oversight. You are aware and can self-learn industry best practices & trends and acquire at least one major skill outside of your area of expertise. You are responsible for complex tasks and complete them despite roadblocks, involving experts from your team or other teams as needed to solve problems. You mentor junior team members directly and indirectly via pairing in the support activities, implementation reviews, and project reviews.You communicate effectively cross functions; collaborate well with cross functional and support teams in IT, Business teams and shared service teams.

As our Senior Manager, Global IT Applications you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Assigning tasks to and directing staff
- Planning and coordinating detailed aspects of the work
- Acting as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
- Working on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
- Reviewing complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance
- Developing new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products
- Assisting upper-level management and staff as a specialist or advisor in your area of expertise
- Managing (sometimes through subordinate supervisors) the coordination of activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing
- Being responsible for a functional area or cross-functional team
- Possessing advanced oral and written communication skills
- Making independent decisions for the team; actively learning how to handle difficult management situations
- Proactively identifying problems with requirements (lack of clarity, inconsistencies, technical limitations) for their own work and team’s work, and communicating these issues early to help course-correct
- Establishing, contributing to, and adhering to all key departmental operating procedures around governance, project management, software lifecycle management, change management, and application controls
- Providing oversight on delivery of application solutions and enhancements
- Acting as the SME; providing guidance to IT Support, development, and integration teams
- Designing, developing, unit testing, and deploying new business functionality
- Working with business users and IT colleagues to provide solutions that match business needs
- Ensuring functional documentation is created and updated
- Providing project implementation oversight and support, including testing of new features and other system changes
- Ensuring adherence to internal service management, ITIL guidelines, and internal SLAs
- Managing the delivery of application features and functions workload and tasks
- Developing and implementing seamless reporting capabilities per business needs
- Gathering and consolidating unrefined business requirements from multiple sources and converging them into meaningful functional specifications
- Driving delivery of application features to successful completion by coordinating resources and stakeholder timelines
- Coordinating and performing in-depth tests, including end-user reviews
- Adhering to all key departmental operating procedures around governance, project management, software lifecycle management, change management, and application controls
- Guiding the design, development, testing, and deployment of new business functionality
- Providing guidance on how solutions could help solve business problems, evolve existing capabilities, and enable new ones
- Using standard project management methodologies (PMP) to analyze user operational requirements, design end-to-end solutions, and develop functional specifications and test cases
- Providing support for both application and business process issues
- Documenting all requests and ensuring adherence to the project management methodology, including submission/updates to business requirements
- Understanding, performing, and coordinating the analysis and design of business systems solutions
- Developing and executing system testing and test plans as required, as well as coordinating and conducting internal user support and training
- Acting as a liaison between business user groups and technical systems groups
- Identifying and documenting application integration requirements
- Developing and testing solutions in collaboration with end-users; executing production migration and post-installation support
- Improving process flow and user documentation for Oracle EBS/Fusion Cloud and enhancing user knowledge and competency
- Ensuring stability and data accuracy in the production ecosystem post-release, in addition to meeting customer needs in line with compliance and audit policies
- Creating and managing Oracle Support Service Requests as needed
- Designing and managing the delivery of program specifications based on consultations with supervisors, programmers, external contractors, and end users
- Documenting, proposing, and optimizing Oracle applications configuration to improve usability and information availability
- Maintaining consistency across functionality and processes globally; understanding HID’s business models and localized needs
- Performing other tasks and responsibilities as requested
Your Experience and Background include:
- An Information Technology degree or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of related experience, or A Master's degree and 8 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience
- Certification in SAFe methodology or equivalent is strongly preferred
- 3 - 5 year's experience in a leadership capacity required
- Proficient in Oracle EBS version 12x and above in Quote to Cash modules including Applications Object Library, must understand Subscription Billing path as well a good understanding of Recurring Revenue flow in Oracle Financials.
- Exposure and experience to Oracle Fusion Applications is strongly preferred
- Over 10 years of techno-functional experience with Oracle EBS/Fusion Cloud, specializing in Quote to Cash (Q2C) processes including Pricing, Order Management, and Subscription Management.
- Proven expertise in solution design, system implementation, end-user support, and acting as an internal SME for Oracle ERP modules, with strong skills in SQL for data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage global projects, and drive continuous improvement through training, vendor coordination, and process optimization.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in fast-paced, complex environments.
- Experience in working with Oracle EBS in a global and corporate environment.
- Hands on experience in Oracle Quote to Cash modules
