Key Account Inside Sales Representative

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is seeking candidates for an Inside Sales Support representative.  This position will report to the Director of Key Account Sales.

This is an opportunity for a fast paced sales-minded professional to work and support the Key Account Sales team and create successful programs that grow year over year.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting all aspects of Account Sales and support all activities of the Key Account Sales Team.  This will require flexibility and the ability to respond quickly and accurately.
  • This job will entail 25% project/program management, 25% generation of documents for new customer sales or customer growth, 35% sales team support for a variety of tasks as requested, and  15% reporting and support of the Director of Key Account Sales.
  • Support in the growth and development of new customers through RFI’s, RFP’s and bid requests for national programs in service and new automatic door equipment.  
  • Assist in customer qualification events and requalification on customer portals as well as separate documentation.
  • Launch new customer programs including customer setup, process documentation and customer instructions.  This will include template quotes, pricing structure documentation for equipment and service sales to allow the operations teams to successfully execute all new work.  
  • Prepare quotations for new programs as well as RFP’s.  Work on specialty one off projects/programs.
  • Knowledge of BAAN is a plus to pull real time data for cost as well as build calculation tools for pricing
  • Ability to read construction documents and specifications. 
  • Research for customer segments to expand into new markets
  • Assist with trade show planning and execution with our marketing department
  • Attend calls or events with outside sales team members to support customers.
  • Provide backup coverage for sales team while traveling.
  • Work with the operations team on challenges and issues for service and installation projects
  • Develop and run project completion reports, create month-end sales material and develop other statistics that charts project planning and flow.
  • Generate data for customer business reviews and build power point presentations
  • Sales support through collaboration with operations team and communication with clients.
  • Submit documentation to support new customer leads, support field personnel in quoting and support in drawing and specification submittals.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of internal quoting systems, including CRM systems.
  • Build relationships with other functional groups in ASSA ABLOY.
  • Ability to be agile and manage a number of open tasks for multiple stakeholders.
  • Collect and organize date for RFP’s and other customer information request
  • Assist the Director of Key Account sales in day-to-day management of the team and tasks.
  • Execute on all duties as assigned.

 

 

The successful candidate minimum requirements: must possess the ability to present as a professional with excellent communication skills and an intense desire to learn the pedestrian entrance automation business.

 

  • Possess a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Sales.  Project management and Procurement background a plus.
  • Develop a broad understanding of AAES PDS internal processes. 
  • This position demands a results-oriented approach coupled with high-energy, positive attitude, great organizational skills, reliability and discipline. 
  • Computer minimums are: Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point with intermediate to advanced level knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of BAAN software a plus.
  • High School Diploma (required) and College Diploma (an asset).
