We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for our brand-new Grand Canyon Service Center. This is an on-site role based in our new Phoenix, Arizona.

What would you do as our Shipping and Receiving Coordinator?
This individual will report to the Logistics Manager and will be responsible for coordinating the daily functions of the concentrated areas. In this hands-on role, you will ensure the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing goods and maintain accurate inventory records.
You would also:
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation (e.g., bills of lading).
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages.
- Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Track and monitor shipment status and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Address shipping and receiving discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the company system.
- Assist with inventory control efforts and report discrepancies.
- Organize and manage warehouse storage areas.
- Prepare necessary shipping documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Support warehouse staff with documentation and inventory tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints.
- Generate reports related to logistics performance.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., forklift, pallet jack - certification may be preferred).
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and logistics software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move packages/items (e.g., up to 50 lbs).
