Warehouse Production and Assembly Associate
Job description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team at the ASSA ABLOY Oviedo, FL site. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks in a production environment, contributing to the manufacturing of various miscellaneous metal products. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly: Perform assembly tasks according to established production processes and quality standards.
- Machine Operation: Operate machinery and equipment used in the production process, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet ASSA ABLOY's standards.
- Material Handling: Safely handle and move materials within the production area, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth production flow.
- Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Process Improvement: Provide input and suggestions for process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and follow established procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds as required.
