Web Analyst EMEIA

About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Web Analyst to join our central e-business team. This role combines web analytics with e-commerce financial modeling to deliver insights that drive performance across our B2B and B2C platforms. You’ll play a key role in working with our EMEIA regions to optimize our websites for growth, identifying opportunities and supporting commercial decisions with robust data. The role will also help to build local capability in the area of Digital Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse key e-commerce and marketing metrics including sales, website traffic, user behavior, and conversion metrics using tools including Google Analytics, Matomo, and BI platforms.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate performance insights to commercial ecommerce, marketing, and product teams.
- Analyse customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and ROI across digital channels.
- Build and maintain financial models to forecast ecommerce performance, evaluate digital initiatives, and support budgeting and investment decisions.
- Support hands-on with tracking and tagging in a compliant way using Google Tag Manager and Cookie Management tools.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across analytics platforms and tag management systems.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong experience in web / e-commerce analytics.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong Excel and/or SQL skills for e-commerce financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Solid understanding of ecommerce KPIs, funnel analysis, and customer lifetime value
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills – ability to translate data into actions
