Field Operations Coordinator
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems (HLAD) Hangar and Large Application Doors in Peachtree City, Georgia is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator.
SUMMARY
The Field Operations Coordinator position is modeled after a General Contractor’s Project Engineer position. Under the direct supervision of the Installation & Service Operations Manager, this role is primarily responsible for coordinating jobsite reports, drafting daily reports/progress updates including (Drawings & Documents, Training Documents, all safety plans and compliance, AHAs, etc). This position is also responsible for site equipment management, requirements and rental tracking for both new equipment sales and service projects. Other duties include managing project closeouts, as-built drawings, and as-built coordination meetings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate jobsite paperwork requirements (Training Documents, Safety Plans, Fall Protection Plans, AHAs, etc)
- Provide technical assistance for electrical/mechanical issues
- Track daily project status through daily reports and site contact
- Manage project closeouts, as-built drawings, and as-built coordination meetings with Project Management & Engineering
- Assist with ensuring training requirements are updated as well as implementing training programs
- Step in on field service and installations as needed for site readiness checks, quality checks, and owner’s training
- Assist with Equipment Rental submissions and tracking
- Join in schedule meetings and assist with schedule updates
- Join in budget meetings and assist with cost tracking updates
- Track Toolboxes and Help Maintain Inventories
- Assist with Badge Applications and Site Specific Documentation
- Provide backup support for Installation & Service Operations Manager during absence
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Knowledge of general construction management
- Experience with contract documents (drawings, specifications, etc)
- General product knowledge including Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and assertiveness
- Demonstrate a “sense of urgency” on getting tasks closure
- Possess problem resolution skills and can work collaboratively with others
- Strong Microsoft Office & Sharepointskills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Two (2) to Four (4) years with construction / management / administration including document review, safety requirements, drawing & product knowledge.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, but varies based on project locations and schedules
Hybrid of In-Office, One day At-Home, & Travel, as required/necessary
