Job Title: Sales Specialist – Data Centres
Location: Poland (flexible; primary site Gdańsk, ul. Leona Droszyńskiego 24, bud. F2)
Reports to: Business Unit Manager – Data Centre, Door Business Segment EMEIA

As Sales Specialist Data Centres, you will be at the forefront of this growth, collaborating with contractors, consultants, and operators to deliver value through our high-performance products. You will play a key role in expanding our footprint in international markets, focusing on both developing new relationships and growing existing ones.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager – Data Centre you will also collaborate closely with divisional stakeholders and initiatives, ensuring alignment across ASSA ABLOY’s global data centre strategy. This role suits someone commercially driven, technically curious, and motivated by the opportunity to shape a vertical with huge long-term potential.

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer engagement and sales development
-Build and manage relationships with key accounts, including general contractors, consultants, and specialist partners in the data centre ecosystem
-Develop tailored offers and proposals that meet technical, compliance, and commercial requirements
-Support specification efforts and provide input to design and planning teams
-Manage existing accounts while actively identifying and pursuing new project and partner opportunities
-Ensure smooth communication from quotation to delivery, coordinating with internal departments to meet customer expectations

Market development and strategic growth
-Work alongside the Business Unit Manager – Data Centre to define and deliver on strategic objectives
-Help target high-potential markets and applications, supporting our growth in geographies without domestic ASSA ABLOY door businesses
-Stay informed of global data centre trends, including technology shifts, regulatory changes, and regional investment patterns
-Collaborate with divisional teams to align local activities with broader ASSA ABLOY initiatives

Internal collaboration and delivery excellence
-Liaise with product management, engineering, logistics, and certification teams to support efficient project execution
-Feed market insights back into product and commercial development teams to strengthen our offer
-Contribute to the preparation of sector-specific materials such as references, brochures, and case studies
-Maintain accurate pipeline and sales reporting via CRM tools

 

Requirements

Experience and education
-Experience in international B2B sales, preferably involving complex technical solutions or construction-related products
-Experience in the data centre sector or with critical infrastructure projects is a strong advantage
-University degree required, ideally in a technical or commercial discipline.

Languages
-Fluent in English
-Additional European languages are an asset.

Skills and attributes
-Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities
-Ability to understand and explain technical performance requirements
-Commercially proactive, balancing farming and hunting with confidence
-Well-organised, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple international projects
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-Experience with ERP and CRM systems is preferred
-Willingness to travel regularly across Europe and internationally
