Senior Financial Controller

What would you do as our Senior Financial Controller
As Kinetron continues to scale as a leading innovator in micro energy systems and product development, we are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to lead and professionalize our finance function. This is a pivotal role, combining daily team leadership, financial strategy, and hands-on execution in a fast-growing, technology-driven environment.

You would also be responsible for:

  • Leading the finance team (reporting, accounting, administration).
  • Acting as the strategic financial contact for internal and external stakeholders (including our parent company ASSA ABLOY).
  • Driving and overseeing monthly and quarterly financial budgeting, reporting and compliance.
  • Set-up, improvement and maintaining of the budget, forecasting and control processes.
  • Representing Finance in the MT and contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Implementing and improving financial systems and internal processes.
  • Supervising financial audits and internal controls.
  • Being hands-on when necessary, especially in a growing team.

 

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial control or as finance manager, preferably in a growing or international company.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, budgeting, compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coach, structure and prioritize.
  • Excellent Excel and ERP system skills (Exact or similar).
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • A proactive mindset: ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.
