2019 FLAPPA Educational Conference March 13-15, 2019 March 13-15, 2019 | University of Central Florida | Orlando, FL The purposes of the Florida Chapter of APPA is to foster mutually supportive objectives among Florida higher educational facilities organizations; to promote relationships that provide personal and professional development through leadership, educational, and networking opportunities for all facilities personnel; to foster the professional spirit among persons engaged in this work; and to aid and supplement the work of the international organization, APPA, “The Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers. FLAPPA will be celebrating it's 15th Anniversary this year! Spend Wednesday morning golfing at Dubsdread, the oldest public layout in the central Florida area, originally designed in 1924 and renovated in 2008. This classic course has plenty of history and is beautifully maintained. On Wednesday evening our Opening Reception is not to be missed. We will go to Sea World and go behind the scenes to see Manta and find out everything you ever wanted to know about Antarctica. Followed by a beautiful reception at Discovery Cove. Thursday we will get down to business with vendors in the Pegasus Ballroom and Educational Classes in Trevor Colbourn Hall. Meals will take place in the Alumni Center except for lunch on Thursday. Thursday evening join us for our dinner party at the Doubletree Hotel. Friday we will be offering four exclusive tours to see some pretty exciting things that are happening on UCF's campus.
