Manufacturing Engineer - Intern

In this role you will assist Opertations Engineers with multiple small scale engineering tasks.


Essential Functions:  


1. learn existing processes 

2. make process improvements per guidance from manager 


Minimum Qualifications:  


1. Engineering course work in mechanical or industrial engineering. Degree not required but must be currently be enrolled in an engineering program. 

2. Experience with CAD (Solidworks), Robot programming, Statistical Process Control 

3. Ability to quickly learn existing process and develop solutions to problems 

4. Knowledge of mechanical design, robot programming, documenting/ writing technical procedures 


Physical Requirements:  


Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.  

Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach.  

Ability to reach with hands and arms.  

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.  

Ability to walk, stand and sit for period of time. 

Ability to remain seated for long periods of time while working on a computer or documentation, etc. 

Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment. 

Must be capable of withstanding long period of viewing data on a computer screen and/or in paper format. 

Ability to interact with a diversity of people and diverse levels of personnel. 

Ability to travel as necessary for the positions described.
