Olney, UK – October 21, 2026.

Traka Automotive is rebranding to KEYper Systems, marking an important milestone in the evolution of its automotive key management offering. The move follows the acquisition of KEYper Systems by ASSA ABLOY in 2019 and reflects the continued integration of two highly respected brands within the automotive sector.

For over seven years, Traka Automotive and KEYper Systems, both part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, have worked together to deliver secure, efficient, and robust key management solutions to automotive customers worldwide. The rebrand aligns the business with its expanding product portfolio, including the latest KEYper MXu and KEYper MX electronic key management systems, powered by the cloud-native KEYper GO software platform.

The transition to the KEYper Systems brand creates a clearer and more unified identity for customers, many of whom have adopted KEYper's next-generation solutions in recent years.

Paul Smith, Head of Automotive says:

Following the launch of our new range of electronic key cabinets, some customers understandably found the distinction between the Traka Automotive and KEYper brands unclear.

By bringing the two brands together under the KEYper Systems name, we are combining the strengths of two global businesses and providing customers with more than 30 years of specialist experience in automotive key management, research and development, sales, and customer support.

Visitors to the AM Live exhibition will have the opportunity to experience the latest KEYper technologies firsthand. KEYper's intelligent key cabinets provide controlled access to vehicle keys, ensuring that only authorised personnel can remove them. System administrators can set user permissions, monitor activity in real time, and receive alerts when keys are overdue for return.

The accompanying KEYper GO mobile and web platform extends that control beyond the dealership or office environment. Administrators can remotely monitor key activity, manage user permissions, schedule key releases for test drives and vehicle preparation, and access detailed reporting and audit trails from anywhere.

AM Live attendees are invited to visit Stand B16 to see how KEYper's innovative solutions help automotive businesses improve security, accountability, and operational efficiency.

Smith adds:

Efficient key management is critical within the automotive industry, particularly for dealer groups operating across multiple locations. KEYper's established presence in the sector and its shared commitment to secure asset management make it a natural evolution of our automotive offering.

KEYper products in the United Kingdom will continue to be supplied through Traka ASSA ABLOY. Existing automotive customers will benefit from access to the latest KEYper MXu cabinets, which integrate seamlessly with existing hardware and software with build it upgrade to the next generation KEYper GO Saas Platform.
