SerivceNow Developer
Role description
In this position you will be part of Application Management Service (AMS) executing the ITSM strategy.
The role is to execute on the roadmap and development for the Global ServiceNow platform. You will be working closely with Application Management Service (AMS) Team members, AMS Service Delivery Manager, the Service management platform Solution Architects, internal and external ServiceNow developers, Service Owner and the SMO team, Group IT, Applications & Platforms (A&P) and our partners and divisional IT.
Your role is to handle administration, configuration and minor development, participate / deliver projects, collaborate and understand how to enable and utilize ServiceNow capabilities that will deliver the most value for our organization.
Responsibilities and Challenges
- Administration, Configuration & Development in Service management platform to ensure we deliver business value for our stakeholders
- Realize Group IT strategy in ServiceNow platform
- Compliance with all related Policies and Processes
- Security compliance on the Platform and integrations
- Make sure we have a well-functioning delivery and handover to Operations.
Tasks
- Administration and Operational Tasks
- Configuration tasks on the ServiceNow platform
- Development task on the ServiceNow platform
- Improve ServiceNow capabilities to fit our customer need.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to transform business needs to ServiceNow functionality.
- Quality assurance of development done in ServiceNow
- Document implemented solutions and best practice
- Assess and deliver upgrade versions
- Evaluate new features
- Work under AGILE and DEVOPS model delivering development and operations
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in configuration (best practice) of ServiceNow platform
- Skills in developing (best practice) of ServiceNow platform
- Strong knowledge in ITIL Practices and integration of those in an international enterprise
- Strong Business and Customer orientation
- Service oriented approach
- High level of verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Education and Experience
- Minimum higher education.
- “Minimum of 2 years of professional experience” in “ServiceNow development”. Note: just Administration experience is insufficient.
- ServiceNow Application Developer certification is required.
- ITIL certifications is a strong plus.
- The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and communication skills and communicate results at a level consistent with the target audience in “English”.
- The candidate must be disciplined & detailed, meet deadlines, dynamic and flexible to manage multiple projects, work effectively in a rapid changing environment and meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines.
- Travel and fieldwork including international travel will be expected; therefore, employee must possess a valid Passport and can acquire valid visas.
- Possess organization and time management skills
- Can interact with clients around the world
Language Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing
