B&B Roadway and Security Solutions, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Machine Shop Lead in our Russellville, AL location.

- 1 to 3 years involved with manufacturing processes.

- Able to effectively manage people, personalities, and challenges.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.

- Must have strong verbal communication skills.

- 5-S training is a plus.

- Lean training is a plus.
-
- Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.

- Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.

- Maintain and improve operating performance of the department.

- Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
-
- Manufacture products in conformance to plant quality standards.
Job Duties and requirements:

- Experience with CNC mill, manual mill, lathe, and band saw.

- Experience managing and leading multiple employees at a time.
-
- Have basic math and mechanical skills.
-
- Able to train employees in the proper way to operate machines with minimal error while focused on uptime and throughput.

- Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings and identify critical measurements.
-
- Will need to provide employees with performance expectations and production goals.

- Provide employees with tools, resources, motivation, training, and accountability.

- Needs to have flexibility with production hours.

- Lead by example by adhering to all code of conduct policies, rules, and regulations.

- Understanding & usage of the metric system, reading micrometer, caliper & tape measure.

- Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail and daily problem-solving skills.

- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
