Profile Summary:
The Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage HID India’s Accounts Receivable operations for its distribution business. This includes disciplined credit management for customers, timely and accurate invoicing, strong cash collections, and effective resolution of disputes. The role will also manage intercompany (IG) billing that supports HID’s Center of Excellence (CoE) business.
This role requires a high level of ownership in setting credit limits, driving collection efficiency, and implementing process improvements that strengthen the Order-to-Cash cycle. The role requires developing trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams to support HID’s expanding business in India.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the AR function for HID India, ensuring accurate and timely processing of e-invoicing, collections, credit control, and receipt entries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication regarding outstanding balances, disputes, and credit control.
- Proactively identify gaps in current AR processes and implement best practices to streamline operations, reduce overdue balances, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve process efficiency in routine AR tasks.
- Manage IG Billing for the CoE business, ensuring accurate invoicing and reconciliation for all group entities involved in R&D and IT support services.
- Oversee the dispute resolution process for outstanding collections, ensuring timely follow-ups and clear communication with all stakeholders involved.
- Ensure compliance with the Group’s internal control standards and local statutory requirements for AR processes.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring accurate preparation and adherence to control processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure effective communication of AR policies and procedures, focusing on optimizing the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle.
- Act as a primary point of contact for AR-related escalations, managing critical customer interactions and resolving issues with timely, effective communication.
- Actively participate in global AR projects, including automation and digitalization initiatives, aligning with HID’s broader strategic goals in the Order-to-Cash space.
Education and/or Experience:
- Any Graduation / Post Graduation in Commerce.
- Previous experience of 5-7 Years in Account Receivables, Credit and Collections, Dispute Management, Customer Care, or other customer facing role.
- Strong ability to communicate internally and externally.
- Strong ability to take initiative and self-start when necessary.
- Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions.
- Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
- Fluency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
