Service Technician
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of various service and maintenance activities including installation, repair, emergency breakdown and other maintenance services required by customers within the Company’s product range.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the role is responsible for:
- Install, repair, and maintain all equipment within the service portfolio to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance in accordance with Australian Standard AS5007 Appendix E.
- Accurately complete and submit all required documentation to a high standard and within specified timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs, installations, and service outcomes.
- Proactively communicate spare parts and vehicle stock requirements to internal support teams to ensure inventory availability for scheduled works.
- Comply with all Company and site-specific induction requirements, including drug, alcohol, police, and other mandatory checks.
Qualifications
- Trade qualification or equivalent relevant experience in a technical field.
- Solid understanding of service and maintenance procedures and service delivery standards.
- Technical expertise in automatic door systems, including installation, diagnostics, and repair is highly advantageous.
- Possession of a current and valid driver’s licence.
- High level of digital competency with the ability to navigate and utilise modern IT systems and mobile applications.
- Attention to detail in documentation, with the ability to accurately complete all required forms and records in line with Company processes.
