Head of Group IT Procurement
We are strengthening our IT sourcing organization to play a key role in how ASSA ABLOY sources technology solutions and services globally. By driving sourcing strategies and effective category management, we aim to deliver greater value, efficiency, and sustainability across the business.
Supporting our Group IT organisation, you will lead a central team of four IT Category Managers and work closely with a shared resource for non-IT purchasing at Group Center — giving you a strategic platform to influence how we work and the impact we create.
This role is responsible for leading the sourcing and procurement process across Group Center, with a focus on IT but including other indirect categories. It is a senior, hands-on leadership position with full accountability for developing a harmonized and compliant sourcing approach — from initial demand through to implementation, follow-up, and continuous improvement.
Key priorities include:

Leading and developing the team of IT Category Managers, ensuring delivery on targets and building a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Driving sourcing strategies for Group IT, aligning them with business needs and communicating them effectively across the organization.

Contribute to improvements of vendor management processes for key IT suppliers to ensure performance, quality, and value.

Overseeing other indirect spend activities within Group Center.

Strengthening governance, compliance, and reporting, ensuring processes are followed and results are transparent.

Acting as a change leader, continuously improving sourcing processes and supporting the business in achieving cost efficiency and strategic goals.
We are looking for a pragmatic and results-driven leader with significant experience in IT sourcing and procurement in complex, international environments. You should bring a strong track record of delivering results, preferably in a global matrix organization, and be comfortable balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution.
Your background likely includes:

A university degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related field (MSc/MBA preferred).

5+ years in senior sourcing or procurement roles, with exposure to IT organizations.

Experience leading teams and working with senior stakeholders across multiple countries.

Strong analytical and influencing skills, with the ability to manage large data sets and translate insights into action.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
