The role…
… is based in Wennigsen or Lippstadt, Germany.
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us achieve our goals in terms of customer acquisition and revenue growth by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing the potential of our Service Sales team, creating sales plans and justifying them for the plans.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Achieve growth and revenue goals by successfully managing the Service Sales team
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and extend its presence
- Direct reporting line to the Service Manager BSI Germany
- Responsible for the implementation and further development of the Service Sales strategy for the German market
- Service Sales planning, introduction of new products in the market and design and optimization of Service Sales processes
- Build and nurture strong, long-term customer relationships by collaborating with them and understanding their needs
- Presentation of revenue, income and cost reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identification of emerging markets and market changes with full knowledge of new products and competitive status
The ideal candidate will have:
- Successfully completed studies in Business economics or a comparable degree
- Strong business acumen
- A strong and diplomatic personality with several years of Service Sales experience in the field of building technology, door technology, building services, construction supply industry or mechanical engineering combined with experience from driving structural changes and improvements
- Experience in acting in a goal-oriented, motivating manner and with entrepreneurial vision
- Knowledge of know how to turn market opportunities into sales successes
- Unrestricted willingness to travel throughout Germany
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, experience in leadership and people development
- Able to thrive in a demanding but collaborative international matrix environment
- Experience in working in an international company / group
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Experience using ERP systems and application software
