Vertical Market Sales Manager

ALCEA/Critical Infrastructure within ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is expanding in USA. We are looking for a Vertical Market Manager to have responsibility of business development within the Critical Infrastructure business in USA. The person in this position will need to collaborate with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure vertical solutions development. The role will be based in Northeast USA. Business travel is required. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business development of the Critical Infrastructure business in the USA
  • Develops and maintains strong client relationships with executives and key influencers, earning a reputation as one of the end user trusted advisors
  • Demonstrates a high level of business acumen and applies an understanding of the client's business, organization, strategy, financial position, and business issues
  • Maintains an understanding of the client's industry, including industry trends, industry performance indicators and key client competitors in their industry
  • Working closely with our Internal Team and with our Partners to build a winning strategy for our solutions with the customers of Critical Infrastructure. 
  • Building and developing relationships to key market influencers and interest groups
  • Understanding market trends and opportunities to develop initiatives and strategies to take advantage of these trends
  • Driving Service / recurring revenue growth

 

Skills Requirements and Performance Criteria:

  • Sales Hunter and Growth Leader
  • A proven track record of sales and business development within the Professional End User market and System Integrator/Access Control market
  • Previous experience of Critical Infrastructure Verticals is desirable
  • Comprehensive understanding of value-sales process, to build up successful business cases, and ability to translate user information into a compelling investment decision, leading to closing of orders
  • Ability to sell Technical Solutions
  • Experience of customer relationship management
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills delivered with diplomatic and firm convictions
  • Self-motivated, and with the ability to plan and organize a demanding workload efficiently and effectively
  • Competent with MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce / Microsoft CRM and ERP systems is desirable
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; any other language is an asset
