What you would do as our Regional Key Account Manager
Reporting to the VP and Head of ALCEA North and East Europe, and working strictly in contact with local sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth of the division within the South Europe, with focus on the Power and Water sectors. Frequent business travels around Europe are required.
You would also:
• Develop key accounts of the Utility vertical across EMEIA, creating pathways for local sales teams to drive revenue growth and capitalize on profitable business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global stakeholders and educate/support the sales force in each business unit on key account activities and strategic initiatives.
• Build and nurture relationships with key market influencers, interest groups, and customers to deliver a world-class customer experience.
• Monitor industry trends and technologies, including legacy, existing, and emerging product-line developments, to inform strategy and innovation.
• Promote the broader ASSA ABLOY portfolio, effectively communicating value propositions and leveraging market insights to develop impactful initiatives.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
• Possesses a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience—with a minimum of 5 years of proven success in sales and business development targeting Professional End Users. Experience or knowledge of the Critical Infrastructure sector and access control products is required.
• Demonstrates solid commercial and technical knowledge, including solution selling, developing business cases, and delivering technical sales presentations to diverse audiences; comprehensive understanding of the value-sales process and ability to translate user needs into compelling investment decisions.
• Is skilled in customer relationship management and influencing both internal and external stakeholders to close multiple business opportunities; collaborates effectively to drive accountability and performance without direct authority.
• Is an independent and original thinker, self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of managing demanding workloads; excellent communication and negotiation skills delivered with diplomacy and conviction.
• Is fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken; knowledge of any local language is considered an asset.
Moreover, you are competent with MS Office package (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and you have knowledge of Microsoft Salesforce CRM and ERP systems.
