Quality Engineer

What you would do as our Quality Engineer
As our Quality Engineer you will act as a key member of the Quality Assurance Team, actively supporting and enhancing day-to-day quality operations. This is a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across products, processes, and systems, with a strong focus on reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and Defective Parts Per Million (DPPM). The Quality Engineer will champion quality excellence by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and fostering and promoting a culture of proactive quality management throughout the organisation.
You would also:
• Ensure inspections and customer concerns are addressed promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Look at CoPQ and DPPM being reduced through effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure internal and external audits are completed on time, with swift closure of non-conformities.
• Be responsible for Goods-in inspections and quality investigations being conducted without delay.
• Take ownership of quality metrics, trends and documentation being reported accurately and continuously improved.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
• The ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
• A can-do attitude.
• Experience in quality assurance within manufacturing or engineering, with strong metrology skills.
• Experience or is certified as an Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
• Skills in strong communication, teamwork, initiative, and is customer service orientation.
