Traka’s intelligent DockSafe management solution has been shortlisted as a Top 50 finalist in the prestigious Tomorrow’s Health & Safety Awards 2019.

Tomorrow’s Health & Safety Awards honour the most exciting and innovative services and products that have had the biggest impact on the industry over the past year. The shortlist has been chosen from a list of reader nominations and editor’s picks and the winner is selected solely by the reader’s vote.

Traka’s DockSafe management solution is one of 50 top products and services selected, as a sophisticated, yet simple to install drive off prevention system, designed to stop vehicles prematurely leaving the Goods Out and Goods In bays of busy distribution centres.

Says Erin Moran, Traka UK Marketing Manager:

The obligations and legal pressures placed on the health and safety sector to innovate, grasp new product technology and service delivery models ensures it continues to deliver to the increasingly busy workplace environment.

Traka’s unique DockSafe solution is RosPA recognised and proven to comply, and ensure distribution centres maintain a safe working environment at all times, for all staff.  We are thrilled that it has been recognised as a finalist in the Tomorrow’s Health and Safety Awards and would love to receive as many votes as possible to secure its win.”

DockSafe is currently used in Goods In Bays, including Tesco Distribution Network, which receives and dispatches over 50,000 vehicles.  It is a welcome installation by all staff and described by RosPA as a ‘brilliant move forward’ to significantly reduce the chance of an incident occurring.

Tomorrow’s Health & Safety Editor, Sarah Robinson, added:

As we continue to put together this awards programme, it really brings home just how many fantastic products and truly remarkable innovations there are across this industry, and we want to make sure that they get the recognition that they so rightly deserve. We encourage all companies to reach out and encourage followers to take the time to vote and show the importance of the readers' choice.”
