Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Category Sales Manager - Accessories Brands to be based in the Vaughan head office. The Category Sales Manager – Accessories Brand is responsible for driving profitable growth across assigned accessory brands by aligning supplier strategy, internal sales execution, and operational efficiency. This role serves as the central connector between brand partners, sales teams, operations, and data analytics to maximize category performance and adoption across all distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with key brands (Pemko, McKinney, and Rockwood) and manufacturers to drive category growth, market expansion, and business performance.
- Lead category planning by identifying growth opportunities, monitoring market trends, and aligning product, pricing, and purchasing strategies with organizational objectives.
- Drive sales enablement and channel development through training, promotional programs, product adoption initiatives, and support for strategic customer opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales, specification, and distribution teams to increase product penetration, specification inclusion, and bundled solution opportunities.
- Optimize procurement, inventory, pricing, and supplier relationships to improve cost efficiency, supply chain performance, and product availability.
- Ensure purchasing aligns with forecasted demand and category growth targets and work in collaboration with sales and operations teams to identify opportunities to include products in ECommerce and other discretionary initiatives.
- Analyze business performance data, develop actionable insights, and monitor key metrics including revenue, margin, inventory, and product adoption to support decision-making.
- Prepare and communicate performance reports, dashboards, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Partner with operations, procurement, IT, and sales teams to improve processes, systems, data accuracy, and cross-functional workflows.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and overall category performance.
- Ensure brand and product strategies align with company goals, customer requirements, and go-to-market objectives.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education and Experience
- University or College diploma or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of experience in category management, product management, or sales leadership
- Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM, ERP, and business intelligence tools
- Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers and managing vendor relationships
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

The estimated expected salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
