Technical Sales Engineer

Technical Sales Engineer
Job Description
- Support the Project Sales team in preparing ironmongery specifications and project schedules, with close coordination with architects, developers, and contractors
- Attend site meetings and conduct inspections at construction sites as required
- Handle customer enquiries by providing accurate and professional technical advice
- Stay updated on the latest hardware and security technologies and apply relevant knowledge in project support
- Provide onsite technical support, including both mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions
- Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive sales growth
Requirements
- Diploma or above in Engineering or construction or VTC certificate in related disciplines
- 1–3 years of experience in digital locks or building materials industry; experience in ironmongery is an advantage
- Proactive, independent, sales target oriented and outgoing personality with strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans and specifications; knowledge of door hardware systems is preferred
- Basic understanding of door and hardware installation processes; willingness to receive hands-on training with technicians
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Candidates available for immediate start will have an advantage
