About The Role

 

Touchwood Doors offers the broad range of commercial doors and frames as well as Door Solutions and is part of the ASSA ABLOY group. We work with architects, builders, and building owners to deliver doors and door solutions.

 

We’re seeking a full-time Estimator / Project Administrator to be based in Mararrie, with previous experience who wants to work with the Leadership team and be responsible for:

 

  • Answer telephone and emails prompt and resolve customer enquiries, delivering excellence in customer service
  • Data Entry, document control, register projects for quoting
  • Maintain and update phone lists and various site registers / logs
  • Orders, Invoicing and GL Coding
  • Keep up to date on product and process knowledge
  • Review project tender requests, summarise the overall requirements and provide accurate pricing.
  • Prepare and present targeted project pricing to deliver a comprehensive and professional proposal to the client (source material and or external pricing).
  • Submit pricing variations as required
  • Analyse architectural drawings and specifications to determine correct frames / Doors and specification.
  • Attend to inbound leads, customer RFI and RFQ’s in a timely manner.
  • Contributing to achieving sales targets, working with the team and following up on quotes and closing sales.
  • Maintaining a close, regular and professional working relationship with existing and prospective customers to maximise market share.
  • Review the project information, pricing and client requirements
  • Determine product information from plans, specification, schedules and associated information
  • Establish a project program for detailing, manufacture delivery and (if required) installation
  • Prepare manufacture orders (job sheets) with all required information to enable manufacture
  • Ensure goods are manufactured and delivered to the client as planned
  • Establish and manage subcontract site installation and costs
  • Action client site instructions, raise variation requests as required and follow up approvals
  • Reconcile project sales and costs, resolve variances and obtain client deed of release
  • Provide visibility on projects with reports on project(s) schedules
  • Maintain and keep the CRM dated

 

About you

 

We are seeking someone who has strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well with systems and procedures. To be successful in this role you will have the following

  • Substantial level of skill in the administration and management of construction projects in respect to the supply and installation Metal Door Frames, Fire Doors and Timber Doors
  • Ability to communicate satisfactorily with management, clients, specifiers and subcontractors
  • Sound level of skill in the use of personal computers and programs
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong administration skills – organised, thorough, systems orientated with meticulous attention to detail
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing and Sales will be highly regarded
