From casinos to motor dealerships to warehouse distribution centres and from the Vatican Radio Station in Rome to petrol refineries in South Africa, Traka welcomes the opportunity of developing new and effective bespoke solutions that help to address our clients' needs.
In selected circumstances, acting upon a customers specific requirement, we can adapt and customise our standard products. Typical examples might be to manufacture a cabinet in a different colour, matching either their work environment or their corporate colour and branding. Another variant might be to fit a solid metal door, either hinged or roller style, instead of our standard polycarbonate door.
Our standard receptor strips hold 10 keysets. However in special circumstances we can supply receptor strips holding either 5 keysets (typically used where there are physically large keys - such as prisons) or 20 keysets typically used where there are large numbers of small keys - such as car dealerships).
Typically we anticipate most Traka cabinet or locker systems will link to the controlling Traka32 software running either on a local PC or across a WAN/LAN network to a central server. However, there are occasions where standard communications links are either not in place or a just impossible to set-up. Where cabinets are located in such remote places - Traka can offer a solution. Communication between cabinet and controlling PC can be accomplished by using GPRS links using the mobile telephone network to communicate.
Traka Touch is the newest addition to our range of integrated Key Management solutions, it incorporates a 7" touch sensitive screen and using the latest embedded-processing technology.
Traka Touch is an intelligent ‘out of the box’ Key Management solution which operates entirely independently of any IT system. Everything is managed via the touch screen on the front panel, from the initial administrative set up of users and keys, right through to the day to day user access.

Traka is a UK based company - all our research and development is done in-house - our software is written here - even our electronics, right down to component design is carried out by our in-house staff - so when it comes to understanding 'if something is possible' you are talking directly to the experts - the people who will make it happen! We don't outsource manufacture of our systems - we do it here in Olney UK - so for special projects requiring development or design changes, the decisions can be made quickly and by people who know what they are talking about.
