RFID Lockers

Traka RFID lockers are used in situations where controlling who has access to the asset is itself not enough. In such circumstances it is often necessary to know exactly when the asset was taken, when it was returned, and to ensure that it was returned to the correct location. This is achieved by uniquely RFID tagging each device so that it is managed and controlled through the Traka32 software.

Traka RFID lockers can be built in a variety of sizes and are adapted to meet a wide range of customer requirements. Typically RFID lockers are used to manage:-

• Laptop computers / PDA's
• Security radios / Mobile coms equipment
• Arm Mounted Terminals / Radio Data Terminals
• Small firearm weapons / CS Gas Canisters
• Cash trays / Specialist tools
• Infact almost anything that you need to effectively manage and monitor in your organisation

The lockers use the same Traka electronics used to manage Traka cabinets. This allows the use of PIN, access card or biometrics access devices. The Traka32 software clearly identifies which assets are in or out of the lockers; it provides a full audit of who has used the asset and allows the lockers to be networked.
