Traka intelligent lockers comprise a range of electronically locked modular cabinets,
managed by Traka32 software to control who can access each locker, and which automatically
audits every locker accessed.
Lockers are available to suit a range of assets; managing equipment such as laptops, PDA's, data
terminals, hand held radios, cash trays, breathalysers and small weapons. In fact Traka intelligent
lockers can be built to accommodate almost any equipment you want to secure.
Traka lockers come in two variations - Electronic Lockers or those which manage the internal
asset with RFID tracking. These Traka RFID Lockers take asset management a stage further, not only
controlling who has access to the locker but also identifying if the user actually removes the asset.
Additionally it identifies when the asset is actually returned and controls which locker the asset is
returned to.
The lockers use the same Traka electronics used to manage Traka cabinets. This allows the use of PIN,
access card or biometrics access devices; it provides a full audit of who has used the locker and allows
the lockers to be networked. Integration into other third party access control or data management systems
is also possible.
